Christmas hubbub at our place

The amount of planning and effort that goes into planning Christmas day with all the trimmings is great-but the memories that are made on such a day are worth far more. Sharing Christmas lunch with good friends and family is a treat (despite the hectic pace that comes from having small children and trying to entertain). We were especially blessed to have Mary and Joseph (in real life) share our Chrissy day lunch with us before we headed off to Cath's place for dessert. Here's a feast of photos for you. There are a few crafty projects there for you to be inspired by. Thankyou Cath for the lovely button/flower gift-it looks lovely on my TV cabinet. I also saw a similar idea at the Christmas markets at the Old Bus Depot Markets here in Canberra-not flowers, but necklaces made using buttons-very cute. I also made these name place settings for Christmas lunch-with red/green/white jelly beans (from Darrel Lea) inside.
