Pyramid-fold card

Here's a cool card idea that was passed on down to me from my upline Katie. I thought it had that "Wow" factor-and I was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out-and being so simple and easy-I think I'll make a few of these when I'm feeling a tad more creative. Here's my very simply decorated pyramid-fold card.

Also, for those of you who want to get your hands on Stampin' Up!s In Colours before they change-place your order today to avoid dissappointment. After March 1st, they may be gone-and then there will be six new colours!!
So if you want to get some more papers/inks/ribbons/scrapbooking papers to match with products you already have-now is your last chance-as these retired In coloured products have a habit of running out-fast!! As the new catalogue for 2009/2010 is due out on April 1st, keep your eyes out for items from this catalogue that will be retired (no longer available)-I will keep you updated as the "Retired List" is revealed.

If you would like to get your very own shiny new catalogue-please contact me-and I'll send one to you as soon as they arrive-Otherwise you can book a workshop and receive one for free!!
Also, if you would like one of the 2008/2009 Stampin' Up! idea book and Catalogues (although retiring, they are great for card/scrapbooking ideas) You can have one for $4 (until they run out) Just contact me, and I will get one out to you.

Mother's Helper

Life has been quite full and busy-so busy in fact that I decided my poor little brain needed some visual promptings. So as not to forget our daily schedule's needs, I created a little reminder for both myself, and Julia as to what she needs for each day-what uniform to wear, what books to bring, and what homework is due, etc. Here is a little snippet of my little weekly calendar.

Just a reminder...

I realise my posts have become a bit few and far between, sorry. Here's a few things I have been working on in dribs and drabs-and have finally completed. I have been spurred on a little by an upcoming stamping get-together. I'd better get those creative juices flowing.
And just a little reminder that Sale-a-Bration will be finished in one week! So if you'd like to make the most of a great deal-give me a "Hoy" and leave a message at craftyeve@gmail.com

All Party-ed out...

after a hard day of party-ing. Good friendships make the heart happy...

This cake didn't turn out according to my plan...in fact not even similar to what I had imagined. However, Madame was happy! I was planning to add a ribbon around the cake-but somehow I forgot to add that in all the party preparations. It looked good on Anna's cake (which also used musk sticks)

School/church friends happily munching away-and having great fun! This really is a group of such sweet girls, and they really just had a great time!

Well it's been a big weekend of little girl's birthay parties. My own now-6-year-old daughter, my niece, Rosa, little Anna, and Rachael J. We have eaten a great deal of cake, party pies, and fizzy drink. But sweet friendships make it worthwhile. Really, I'm sure that my Little miss would have been happy with no presents-just spending the day with a bunch of girls takes the cake. It was actually Me who was excited at a few gifts that Julia received. Yes, they were from my sisters...and I was impressed! Check out the gorgeous t-shirt my sister, Sharon, made using the scallop punch. It looked like a bought one-except that I have a keen eye for things made using the scallop punch. Also two little covered containers (I think they were made using recycled baking powder containers?) They look lovely-and yet so simple to make. My sister, Angela, made some lovely creations using her scroll-saw (sorry no picture). They were made to match the butterfly theme in Madame's bedroom.
Happy Birthday little girls, we hope you have many wonderful memories of your special day-and that you know you are loved!

All I want For (next) Christmas...

Wiggle by wiggle, this long a-waited event has occurred! Julia's first tooth has fallen out, just in time for her birthday. Here's little miss, proud as punch! And then there's our little guy-just because he's cute. Yes the photo's blurry-he's a very wiggly little guy-it's very hard to get him to sit still-especially when Mum's holding a camera with buttons on it-buttons are there to be pushed, didn't you know Mum?
