I'm planning on starting a stamp club. For those of you who love to create cards, scrapbook pages, and paper craft gifts-this is for you. The plan is to run a once-a-month class where we create 3 projects, for the cost of $10 (to cover materials) If you join, and are unable to come to a class, you will receive the kit and instructions so you can make your projects at home. And for those of you who love scrapbooking, but never seem to get around to it-this is a great way to start making some pages. I have several 6" X 6" pages planned for the upcoming months.
This cute punch-art card (above) is a sneek-peek of one of the cards we will be making at the first gathering on Friday 12th June from 7-9:30p.m. If you would like to join us and come regularly, please contact me, and I will add you to the list. We are limited to 8 per class, so get in quickly.

Kwerner colour inspiration #50

I have finally got myself organised enough to do another KWerner design challenge-and I was very challenged with these colours. Since I have been trying to incorporate stamping into my scrapbooking more recently, I thought I would create a 6"X 6" scrapbook page for the challenge. I made my own buttons using a circle punch and crystal effects-that way you can have a button in any colour you like! I hope you enjoy.

In the next few days, I will try posting some more pages I have been working on recently. I am planning a class in June/July sometime to create 6 pages 6X6" size-so let me know if you are interested in attending. I am also working on a punch-art class for the June/July period-I've got some really cute cards in the making for this one

Fresh New Looks

I really loved the tree from the "Thoughts and
Prayers" set-I've got some great ideas "Up my
sleeve" for this one.

Glossy apples using "Crystal effects" and the
"Tart and Tangy" stamp set (as well as the scallop punch).
Cute...

I'm not quite sure what technique this is-but as you
pull the tab up-the image becomes coloured. I used
the new "Window Dressing" hostess set for this cool
idea.

This gorgeous new set is called, "Fifth Avenue Floral"
and makes some really simple and elegant cards.

I haven't posted in a while-but I have been busy using some of my new stamps from the new catalogue. There are some really gorgeous sets in the new 2009-2010 Stampin' Up! Ideas book and Catalogue. Here's just a few of the cards I came up with with my "playing". I am also working on a bunch of swaps at the moment for Convention-which I finally decided to go to this year (as it is in Canberra). Hubby encouraged me to go-and I really enjoy the friendships I have formed with our Stampin' team-so I am really looking forward to going and learning new things. It would seem that my blogging style has become a long absence-and then a big "dump" of things I've been working on for the last few weeks...and this trend may well continue as school holidays is happenin' at the moment. Until later...
