"Extreme Elements" Scrapbook page

Another Christmas card using my "Delightful Decorations" stamp set and punch-you've gotta love a coordinating stamp set and punch-it really makes card-making quick-a good thing when you're making a pile of Christmas cards.

Here's a little clip over at Kristins Werner's blog on how to correctly tie a knot-there is a right way, you know...

Mini Milk Carton die and Owl Punch

Mini Milk-cartons and carry bag-a very cute Christmas-y teacher's gift or Party favour

Owl/Penguin Bookmarks

You can tell I've been having fun using the new owl punch. He's a cute little owl, don't you think? He'll definitely be "popping" up here and there in my cards and scrapbooking pages.

Post-it note and pen holder

Here's a cute little gift idea for someone special. I saw this on Dawn Griffith's blog-and thought I'd give it a go. I will definitely be making more of these-they are so easy to make-no fiddly bits, and all just made out of card. Give it a go-the instructions are on Dawn' slink above...Have fun!

"Delightful Decorations" cards

I CASED this card with these gorgeous colours (not your traditional Christmas colours) from Ann Schach on splitcoast stampers. I just made mine a little simpler

I also CASED this card from Becky Higgins over at Inking Idaho

This side-step card I also made using bits and pieces of inspiration found all over the place. I loved the colour combo in the card by Ann S. (above) and the layout and instructions from Julie Davison I also loved the simplicity of being able to make a side-step card without the need to hand-cut a stack of pieces-a coordinating punch comes in very handy...

One card-two options

Well I've been wanting to try out this "patchwork" style of card, but hadn't quite found the time until now. I started out with this flower embellishment, but then had another idea, which I think suites the season better-so I made a quick switch, and am happier with the result.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

It is that time of the year again, when the shops start putting Christmas decorations up, and selling Christmas paraphernalia-and we all scream "It's too early for that!" But if you're planning on doing something creative for Christmas-now is definitely the time to be planning ahead (that's my excuse anyway)-and starting to think about Christmas cards etc. Here's one little card I made using a variety of the papers from the "Jolly Holly" pack of DSP's and this cute Stamp from the "Delightful Decorations" Stamp set. I will post some more Christmas cards using this set in the next few weeks. The pink card is made using the "Elements of Style" set, and using the stained-glass window technique. If you want to know how to do this-ask me how, and I'll show you...

Holidaying fun

Two little cards I made this afternoon-on a rather miserable, and rainy day here today-worth spent inside creating something!

Getting up close and personal with a croc at Floriade (don't panic Nanny, it's made of fibreglass)

You wouldn't believe how frigidly cold that water is-and the kids were swimming in it! You may notice the absence of people in the water...there is a reason for it...Brrrrrr

Eeeeewww, Seaweed...hey wait a minute isn't that the stuff we have in our lunch box, and on sushi? Oh, let's eat some then!
